I am excited to finally share with you all the must haves we put on our Baby Registry! I am not going to lie, this part stressed me out the most. I spent hours researching different brands and products because now-a-days they have SO many versions on the market. I am first-time mom, so while I wish I can say I’m an expert at all things baby by now, I’m not. A lot of the items on my registry had great reviews and were recommended by multiple friends and family members who have children. **Side note: Please do not feel pressured to buy all of these things. I am just posting this as a guide to give you somewhere to start, especially for all the first time parents out there like me!
We used Babylist.com for our registry and we loved it! What I liked most about using Babylist.com is that it allows you to link an item to your registry from ANY website! You can even attach an “Add to Babylist” link on your Bookmark bar to easily add products to your registry in the moment. Another great feature is that when you link an item from one store, it will show your guests every store it is sold at and the price at each store. This way they can see what retailer might be selling it at a better price point. To get a better idea of what it looks like, feel free to check out my registry here.
TRANSPORTATION
After a ton of research, we decided to go with the Uppababy Vista Stroller (in the “Henry” Color) and the Nuna PIPA Lite LX Infant Car Seat. We did need to buy this adaptor so we could secure the Nuna Pipa car seat to the Uppababy stroller. We picked this stroller because you can add an additional seat, so it will grow with your family and you won’t have to purchase a different stroller. Even though it’s pretty pricey in the beginning, you end up saving money because you can use it for years and with multiple children.
FEEDING
One of the most important things I heard when it comes to adding bottles to your registry is to add a variety of brands, shapes, and sizes. Some babies are particular about which bottle they will take, so it’s important to add one or two of the same brand before committing to buying multiples of one bottle. This also goes for pacifiers too!
DIAPERING
Out of all the diaper pails we decided to go with the Ubbi Diaper Pail. We loved that this diaper pail allows you to utilize any standard trash bag or reusable cloth liner! A lot of the other diaper pails we found you had to buy certain bags for, so the Ubbi definitely stood out for that reason.
