Can you believe that we’re already prepping for Easter?! This year, I wanted to focus on making the holidays fun! The holidays for me growing up were some of my favorite memories with my family. Now the key to keeping the holidays stress-free is planning ahead. I just finished Landon’s Easter basket this week, so I wanted to share what I bought, along with other toddler Easter basket ideas to make shopping and planning easier for you!
1. Bunny Silicone Plates / Other Feeding Necessities
I found these bunny silicone plates on Amazon that I thought was a perfect addition to the Easter basket! They come in pink and purple as well. You can also add other feeding necessities to the basket, like cups, placemats, colorful utensils, etc.
2. Board Books
Board books are my favorite type of books to give my toddler since they are durable. They also stop my toddler from ripping out all of the pages (I know many other parents can relate to this!). You can get seasonal books, Easter books, or just some cute bunny books.
3. Stuffed Animals
Can a toddler really have too many stuffed animals? Okay well maybe, but mine loves playing with them all! I recently discovered Cuddle and Kind dolls and fell in love. They are heirloom quality and support an amazing cause. For every doll sold, they donate 10 meals to children in need. If you already have one of those dolls or if you’re looking for something.. don’t worry I found other options for you!
4. Pajamas
I came across bunny pajamas and knew I had to add them to the Easter basket. Instead of pajamas, you can add any other article of clothing (i.e. dresses, swimwear, t-shirts, shorts, etc.)
5. Wooden Toys
A lot of the toys I get for my toddler are wooden toys. I just love how timeless they are. Wooden toys are also a lot more durable and will last longer.
6. Sandals
I wanted to put in items I knew he would be getting a lot of use in for the upcoming seasons. I found these sandals and thought they would be perfect for spring and summer!
Some other items that you could add to a toddler’s Easter basket are coloring books, crayons, number or letter flashcards, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, Annie’s bunny crackers, and so much more! I hope these toddler Easter basket ideas were helpful in preparing for your Easter shopping!
