In this post, I am rounding up products that I own and love. Many of these products I have been using for years and keep coming back to. Just a note – I am by no means a makeup expert. I am just sharing products that have worked for me!
St. Tropez Express Self Tanner
I have tried numerous self-tanners over the years and I have kept coming back to this St. Tropez one. St. Tropez makes a few different kinds of self-tanners, but I love this express formula. For one, the express formula helps you achieve a bronzed glow in minimal time. Most self-tanners you have to leave on for 8+ hours to achieve full color, but this one is 1-3 hours depending on the color you want. For instance, waiting one hour before showering will give you a light glow, two hours for a medium golden tan, or leave on for up to three hours for a deeper, darker tan. The product will also continue to develop after you shower it off! Note: The tanning mitt is sold separately, but you can find it here.
A few tips that I’ve learned from using this product are:
- Make sure to exfoliate and shave the day/night before
- Prior to application, moisturize any dry areas: elbows, knees, ankles, and feet.
- Move your tanning mitt in circular motions, starting at the ankles and working your way up
- After application, wait 15 minutes before getting dressed
- I would not recommend sleeping in this overnight, because it will most likely transfer onto your sheets. The product does come out of sheets when washed right away.
- With any self-tanner, make sure to moisturize daily to prolong your tan!
Origin’s Clear Improvement Face Mask
This Origin’s face mask is one I’ve used for YEARS. I have oily, dry skin and feel that this mask made a visible difference in my skin. I’ve noticed that I am not as oily when I use this product a few times a week. I’ve also noticed my pores getting smaller from continued use.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil
I use this brow pencil in shade “Soft Brown” to fill in any sparse areas on my brows. The pigment lasts all day and is very easy to apply.
Olaplex No.3
This is hands down my favorite hair mask! I personally use this hair mask once a week on hair washing days. How I use it: I wash my hair with shampoo first to get rid of all the oils and dry shampoo. Then I apply the formula all over my towel-dried hair and clip it up. I leave it on for about an hour or so (they recommend leaving it on for 10 minutes at least or longer). After it’s been in my hair for about an hour, I rinse my hair out then shampoo and condition as I normally would. This mask helps with reducing breakage and it makes your hair so soft and shiny!
Chanel COCO MADEMOISELLE Eau de Parfum
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum
I’ve been using both of these perfumes for years and LOVE them. I will say both of these are a little on the stronger side as far as scents go, but they last all day!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo
This dry shampoo is my holy grail! It’s the only reason I can go 5 days without washing my hair. It helps clean your hair by absorbing all the dirt, oil, and sweat. It also makes your hair look, feel and smell like you just washed it! I spray this in my hair overnight and let it soak in, so when I wake up it’s ready to go. I’ve found doing it overnight is when this product works best for my hair.
Tarte Maracujá Juicy Lip
I use this over my matte lipstick or sometimes just wear it by itself. This lip gloss balm moisturizes, adds shine, and is long-lasting! It comes in different shades ( I use shade: “rose”) or you can buy it in clear.
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
This loose powder sets my makeup so it looks fresh all day! It helps absorb oil and reduces shine to create a flawless, matte finish. I apply this right after my foundation and concealer.
T3 Curling Wand
I’ve been using this curling wand for years now. I love how long my curls last when I use this styling tool. I can go 3 days (sometimes more) without even having to touch the curls up! The curls do fall as they would with any styling tool, but they fall so naturally in my opinion.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick + Lip Liner
The Charlotte Tilbury matte lipstick and lip liner in shade “Pillow Talk” is one of my favorite lip combos! The lipstick is a matte finish and is long-lasting. If you love more of a nude shade, then you will need to try this one!
