My favorite time of year is finally here and I could not be more excited! In honor of the fall season starting, I thought it would be fun to compile a list of fall-inspired activities to complete. A lot of these activities are already on my bucket list to do before and after baby’s arrival. These ideas could also be done for a day of self care, with your family or a date night with your significant other. Now let’s get started on the list!
- Go to a Pumpkin Patch
- Find your way through a corn maze
- Make your own caramel apples
- Drink apple cider
- Bake a pie or fall-inspired treat: open up a bottle of wine or get a 6-pack to make this a fun date night idea!
- Make chili or your favorite soup and have a movie night
- Carve a pumpkin / have a pumpkin carving contest
- Try new fall makeup shades (lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, etc)
- Decorate your front porch
- Buy a cozy fall scented candle
- Have a halloween movie marathon
- Create a yummy fall-inspired cocktail/mocktail
- Host a Friendsgiving
- Have a bonfire & make smores
- Attend a football game
- Go to a haunted house
- Have a themed outdoor picnic
- Treat yourself to a pumpkin/caramel latte or fall beer
- Clean out your closet
- Buy new fall clothes to add to your wardrobe: i.e. scarf, pair of boots, cardigan, jeans, sweater, etc.
- Complete a fall craft (i.e. fall wreath, table centerpiece)
- Do something special for a friend/ or for your community to give back
- Read a good book or find a new podcast
- Make your own halloween costume
- Get a mani/pedicure in your favorite fall shade
- Write a list of all the things you are thankful for
- Go to your local farmers market
- Take fall family photos
- Start budgeting for Christmas: Pick an amount you want to save/amount you will put away each paycheck. Then task yourself to hit that number by winter or a specific date!
