It’s one of my favorite seasons not just because of the amazing weather but for all the animated + colorful outfits and trends that come along with it! Pop of color
A few bright outfits are a must have spring look. The nice part about this trend is it carries right into Summer so you can wear it for both seasons! Plus who else feels like bright colors make them happy and instantly change their mood?
Floral + Playful patterns
I love any excuse to wear florals and exciting patterns! Spring is all about having fun with your wardrobe. I usually stock up on multiple patterned kimonos and floral dresses to incorporate this trend into my closet.
Pretty Pastels
Pastels are a classic spring staple and timeless enough for you to wear them year after year! These neutral, soft tones can easily be styled with other colors and prints which is what makes it so fun and versatile. Some of my favorite pastel colors are Lavender, Mint, and Mauve.
Denim
This is another trend that carries throughout the year. First thing first, if you don’t have a denim jacket then this is the time to buy one. It’s my most worn piece for this season and it seriously goes with everything and it’s perfect for those chilly spring nights! My favorite ways to incorporate denim: 1. denim jacket over a dress, 2. a chambray shirt with black denim, 3. Tie waist denim shorts
Snakeskin Print
Move over leopard, there’s another animal print taking over this spring! Snakeskin has become a popular trend this season and there are multiple ways to incorporate this trend in your closet. You can find this animal print in a pair of fun loose trousers, flowy dresses, and comfy sandals.
Headbands, Hair clips & Hair scarves .. OH YES!
Headbands & Hair scarves…Usually when my hair is on it’s last day and I am to lazy to wash it, this is when these come in handy! These are a great hair accessory to add to any outfit and hairstyle. Some ways to wear it: tying the hair scarf to the end of your braid, using the hair scarf as a headband, wear a headband & hair scarf with a braid or high pony.
Hair Clips…Who else is super excited about this 90’s trend coming back? I am all about wearing accessories to look cute and take hair out of my face! How to wear this trend: find clips and barrettes that have pearls, rhinestones/crystals, and patterns. You can have fun with it and even mix & match some of the styles. Use it to pin back one or both sides of your hair or add it to an up-do style!
