It’s that time of year when all the fall weddings are coming up. I love this time of year for a wedding, but it’s always hard to find JUST the right dress depending on the wedding location and the attire required. I wanted to compile some of my favorites for a fall wedding this year to help! I separated them from different stores that I tend to by most of my wedding guest dresses from. I hope this helps!

Rent the Runway:
If I don’t want to buy a dress for a wedding or upcoming event, then I will rent one from Rent the Runway. If you aren’t familiar with this service, then you need to be! I have rented numerous dresses from this website for my Bachelorette weekend, Wedding rehearsal, and other weddings where I was a guest. You can start off by going to the “Occasions” tab or the “Wedding” tab and pick the event that you are attending. From there it filters for you dresses that you would wear for that specific occasion. You can also filter dresses, clothing and accessories by the date you need it, size, and color. They have over 300 designers to choose from and you can finally by a runway inspired dress for more than half the original price!
How it works:
After you select the dress you want, you then select the time frame you need the dress by from their calendar. If you need the outfit for a weekend event then you can choose the 4 day option, or if it’s for a vacation or longer event than you can keep it for 8 days. I always choose the delivery date to be at least 1-2 days before my event, this way I can try it on to make sure it fits. I have had situations when it didn’t fit, but I had enough time for them to overnight me a new style/size. They also give you the option to order a back-up size, so you will have two sizes to be able to try on.
Return:
The best part is that it’s so easy to return and you do not have to worry about dry cleaning it! To return your dress, all you have to do is slip the provided pre-paid shipping label into the front pouch of your carrying case and take it to your local UPS Store/ Drop box by noon on your return date. **If it’s a Sunday or holiday, you can return it by noon the next day.
Reviews:
Before I pick out any dress, I make sure to check out the reviews. Most of the dress reviews have pictures and sizing of the women that have previously rented it, so you can see how the dress looks on. I love this option because being more petite, I can see how the dress would fit on someone my size and then can decide if I want to rent it or not.
